European Commission adopts UK Partnership Agreement on the European Structural and Investment Funds

The European Commission has adopted the Partnership Agreement with the UK, which sets out the priorities and objectives for the use of the European Structural and Investment Funds until 2020.

The European Structural and Investment Funds will invest a total of 6,937.2million Euros in England to help tackle unemployment, promote social inclusion and fight poverty, through training, innovation and education.

Additionally, there will be Operational Programmes for each ESI Fund for the devolved nations which will include detailed actions of the investment priorities and objectives of the Partnership Agreements.
